These push-ups are fundamental. The Hindu Push-Up I like to call Elliptical Push-Up because the hips create an ellipse in space. It feels ellipitical and that motion generates elastic-rebound from loading the fascia and tendons through the creation of the dynamic circle (the ellipse really). Because one can relax during this push-up, one can develop an ability to do many, many, many right in a row.

The Dive-Bomber requires more muscular action, less tendonous loading, and therefore lacks the circular fluidity of the Elliptical Push-Up. The Dive-Bomber stop on the two ends. It is a great strength builder; it works length okay, but it lack circularity.
